Forest Landowners

There are many aspects to wildfire recovery on forested land: determining the likelihood of tree mortality, deciding whether or not to replant, and managing dead or damaged trees that pose a risk to safety and property.

In Washington, the Department of Natural Resources is a key resource for forest landowners. So are Conservation Districts, staffed with local natural resources experts.

Find a DNR forester in your area or contact your local Conservation District to get in touch with someone who can provide free advice and information.
